A BRIEF OVERVIEW

So...what did I do for my Service-Learning?

In my first semester of Year 2, my course (Diploma in Psychology Studies) had an integrated group assignment combining 5 modules: Managing Social Services, Abnormal Psychology, Group Dynamics and Facilitation, Health Psychology, and Statistics and Research Methods.
This group assignment had us design, organize and implement a community programme on Social Emotional Learning competencies for primary school students from a local student care centre. During the whole process, my team had to apply academic material from the 5 modules in the planning, proposal, facilitation of activities, and the evaluation of our programme.
Enhancing my learning through reflection

This website is a platform that I will be using to reflect on my experiences participating in this Service-Learning project.
I have organized my reflections into 6 tabs: 5 for each module and the final one detailing my thoughts on this project's relation to my own personal growth and civic engagement.

Through my reflection, I will be linking my experiences back to academic material, which serves to improve my understanding of the different issues each module presents.

That is all I have for the overview, so feel free to explore the rest of the site!
